I’m Kai, a designer, and craftsman of exclusive leather pieces.
My father was a tailor and I used to help him. I acquired my passion and most of my knowledge from him. After 15 years of experience, it was time to create my own handmade fashion brand: BarceLeaher focused on handmade leather bags and accessories.
For me, the process of creating a handmade piece is my way of understanding life and people. When someone asks me to create a leather craft, I start thinking about the key factors that make my artwork a perfect fit for their personality. I always think of my father when he told me “This is a piece that should expand the personality of its owner.”
I studied classical guitar and I am proud to say that I am an artist who travels the world in search of his passion.
My Mission
In my designs, I look for each person to feel that each piece I make is especially for them and crafts are an excellent vehicle to help me achieve this.
I look for the best materials and authentically artisan creation methods to make the pieces, methods that are difficult to find nowadays. That is the Barceleather hallmark: quality and authenticity,
Leather is a second skin that must be consistent with the first and reflect the essence of whoever wears it.
I do not use any mechanical machines to create my art. The creation process is completely handmade and based on traditional methods.
My client participates, step by step, in the creation of his piece.
